Modern Tradition - About Me

"Two hearts, one love; two promises, one covenant; two lives, made one in Christ."

This is the quotation my husband, Jeremy, and I used on our wedding invitations. We wed in June of 1999, and have been happily married ever since. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, I moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas in the fall of 1997. Jeremy and I met at Arkansas State University. I graduated in December of 2001 with a Business Management degree.

After my graduation, Jeremy and I moved to Searcy, Arkansas, so that he could help his father with their family business, Gillam Farms. We have two sons, Alexander, who was born in June of 2004, and Jaxon, born in August 2007. They are our pride and joy.

Shortly after Alexander was born I began a home-study course from Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, which is a division of the National Bridal Service. In March of 2006, I completed my training and received the title of Certified Wedding Specialist. I work part-time from home so that I can watch my sons learn and grow.

I thoroughly enjoy working with brides, grooms, and their respective families to help them plan a memorable, fun-filled day. Best wishes to you as you embark on your new journey. May God bless your future together.
